Living Choice Aust Pty Ltd - Properties for Sale - Downsizing
From humble beginnings at Davistown, NSW in 1992, Living Choice Australia has grown to become one of the largest and most respected retirement village companies in Australia.
The directors, Adelaide born-and-bred businessmen Ian Tregoning and Graham Hobbs OAM, have extensive experience in the hospitality industry through their company EDP Hotels. They purchased Living Choice Australia Ltd in December 2003 and over the years, have expanded the Living Choice portfolio to more than 1,617 retirement homes and 2,191 residents in three states.* (*Correct as at April 2020.)
Ian and Graham are not only committed to creating highly desirable independent living communities where residents can embrace all the opportunities to enjoy their retirement – they are also mindful that some residents may need more care in the future. Together with Estia Health and Arcare, co-located aged care facilities have been built at Living Choice Twin Waters and Living Choice Glenhaven. Living Choice is also an Approved Provider and Living Choice Home Care services have been rolled out at all villages.
“We offer the ‘choice of luxury and the luxury of choice’ and the increasing demand at our villages around the country tells us we’ve got the formula right.”
There are now ten operating Living Choice villages in Australia - at Kawana Island and Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast, Flagstaff Hill, Fullarton and Woodcroft in Adelaide, Glenhaven and Marsfield in Sydney and Davistown, Kincumber and Woy Woy on the Central Coast. Their 11th village – Living Choice Parkwood in Queensland – is on the way to becoming another award-winning retirement destination.
Recently, the company expanded its operations to include the construction of residential terrace homes and apartments, building The Somerton Residences and The Brighton Apartments in Maroochydore. In July 2022, it received Planning Approval to build its first Over-50s Lifestyle Community at Mount Barker.
