Your new home at RFBI Basin View Masonic Village is on the north shore of the St George Basin, an idyllic location well known for its relaxing and welcoming lifestyle. Set in tranquil bushland within walking distance of the town, it lets you easily choose between doing a little or a lot.

The grounds comprise well kept gardens, an orchard and many quiet area of bushlands. The surroundings are beautiful and practical, producing a fine crop of fruit, vegetables and herbs. This peaceful paradise attracts visiting wildlife, including wombats and kangaroos (which are well accustomed to our residents and provide the evening entertainment). 

The garden and orchard provide a opportunity for you to spend time with fellow residents. Other activities include art classes, craft activities, bingo, BBQs, high tea, celebrations of special events such as Anzac Day and Melbourne Cup, birthdays, armchair travel and cooking.

RFBI Basin View Masonic Village is airy and inviting: custom designed to provide you with maximum living comfort with care and assistance as needed. The village provides care and accommodation for 50 older Australians and includes a secure area with gardens for those living with dementia. All rooms are generously proportioned single bed with en-suite.

You will have access to a range of communal areas, balcony, beautiful landscaped gardens and natural wildlife. Within each wing residents can also enjoy smaller sitting areas for socialising or quiet time. Quality meals are prepared by our own cooks on-site. Menus are changed seasonally and developed with residents’ tastes and preferences in mind.

Your new home: designed for convenient comfortable living

The generously sized bedrooms come with built-in wardrobes, desk, a full electric bed and a nurse call system. Large en-suites have a walk-in shower, toilet, vanity, wall cabinet and call button. Most bedrooms look out over our beautiful gardens or courtyard. We hope that our residents bring their treasured items from home and we provide space for this as well. Picture rails to hang artwork or photos of loved ones, TV antenna outlet and a phone plug are available in each room.

No matter what the weather, you can keep cool or warm with the ceiling fan, reverse cycle air conditioning and both block-out and sheer curtains.
