Your new home at RFBI Tamworth Masonic Village is near the city centre of Tamworth, the major regional centre for the New England district, home of the annual Country Music Festival. 

Situated in the heart of one of Australia’s richest agricultural areas, Tamworth is a vibrant city with excellent shopping facilities, local public and private hospitals and access to many visiting and attending medical specialists. 

At the same time, you will find the ambience at RFBI Tamworth Masonic Village both peaceful and relaxing. The idyllic surroundings here include a beautifully kept landscaped garden. The village will prove ideal for your lifestyle needs, whether you are after peace and privacy or a more active social calendar.

The countless enjoyable village activities include regular outings to local pubs, clubs and cafes for meals and socialising. You will also have a great time at our crafts days, card and board games, the regular weekly Happy Hour and concerts. 

You will be able to take part in daily exercises, check out the newspapers and enjoy poetry readings, music, bingo, quizzes and BBQ lunches. We are very lucky in to be entertained by guest artists during Country Music Week and to enjoy special-occasion parties.

To help you get out and about, RFBI Tamworth Masonic Village owns two buses which regularly provide outings. The larger one has a wheelchair lift.

RFBI Tamworth Masonic Village has 62 bedrooms for residential care. The 15-room Lyall Green wing is exclusively for residents living with dementia.

All rooms have electric beds and en-suite bathrooms and are fitted with ceiling fans and evaporative air conditioning. All come with a nurse call system and movement activated sensors. The village’s common area rooms are kept comfortable for you with reverse-cycle air conditioning.

You will be able to relax or chat in our spacious lounge room and enjoy delicious meals in our dining room. Laundry and clothes label are taken care of on site.
