Your new home at RFBI Bellingen Masonic Village is surrounded by the bushland, birdlife and rural views for which the district is famous. 

Bellingen is a picturesque town on the Bellinger river, at the foot of Dorrigo mountain. There is a strong sense of community here with group gardens, markets, art galleries, cafés and a lively social scene — with music festivals such as the annual Jazz Festival. 

The village is a short stroll to the town centre and very much a part of the local community. The village is well known for having a very family feel, providing quality care and personal service, and many of the staff have been at the village for many years.

RFBI Bellingen Masonic Village has a large bank of generous community volunteers who help create an active and varied social life for our residents. For example, current activities include: line dancing, quizzes, crosswords, memory and reminiscing activities, men’s groups, happy hour, pets-as-therapy program and gardening.

Other choices include bus trips in the 12-seater village bus, carpet bowls, bingo, multi-denominational church services, arts and crafts — and music.  Local musicians visiting include bush bands, choirs, carol singers, school groups and guitarists.

For quieter moments, there are lots of peaceful areas where you can simply relax, both indoors or out. These spots are also ideal for chatting with family or friends.

Your new home: designed for convenient comfortable living.  Choose from single and double rooms, with shared bathrooms, wide verandahs, gardens and a communal dining area and lounge room.

The village is close to the centre of town, giving you ready access to shops, cafés, doctors and transport.

You are also free to use the village’s internet café – with volunteers on hand to provide assistance should you need it.
