Social clubs for seniors: Goodwin Day Clubs

Day clubs can be a breath of fresh air, getting you out and about and meeting new friends. Our coordinators organise various activities so it’s always interesting.

Goodwin Day Clubs are in quality, light-filled and purpose-designed premises in Crace (The Central Day Club), Queanbeyan and Monash.

Services include pick-up and drop-off at your home, morning tea and lunch. Activities can include:

• group outings
• lunches at local venues
• games
• crafts
• light exercise
• guest speakers
• entertainers
• BBQs and picnics.

Day clubs operate from Monday to Friday. You can come along as often per week as you would like to as part of your Commonwealth Home Support Programme, or as a stand-alone service.

Day clubs operate within a supportive environment with qualified, dedicated staff who love their work.
