Your new home at RFBI Moonbi Masonic Village nestles at the foot of the Moonbi Range, 20km north of Tamworth. Its land was part of Moonby Station which still runs a hobby farm with sheep, chickens and working dogs. The village is surrounded by expansive views of the magnificent countryside.

While not simply relaxing and enjoying your peaceful surroundings, you will find plenty to do at RFBI Moonbi Masonic Village. 

Everything you need is right here

RFBI Moonbi Masonic Village offers 33 retirement living units on a beautiful site of over 50 acres. They comprise one 3-bedroom unit, twenty-six 2-bedroom and six 1-bedroom units. All have their own laundries, smoke detectors, personal verandahs and gardens; we take care of the maintenance and lawn mowing services for you. Lock-up garages are attached to 32 of the units.

You’re free to enjoy the communal barbeque area as well as a meeting hall used for crafts, recreation and functions. It is located in the historic Coach House.

Moonbi has a small flock of sheep and an alpaca grazing on our beautiful grounds and lambing season is a highlight.  And food leftover from our residential care kitchen is not wasted, it’s fed to the chooks.

The village has a bus available for shopping trips twice weekly to nearby Kootingal, which has all the services you need. The bus is also available for village outings and excursions. The Kootingal Bowling Club is a popular destination for the Chinese restaurant, plus year round entertainment, including bingo and lawn bowls.
