About Eldercare
One of the largest and most experienced aged care operators in South Australia, Eldercare Incorporated was founded in 1990 with two complementary goals - to respect our residents’ privacy and preserve their dignity, while simultaneously connecting them with an active, stimulating community.
These core motivations still drive us today. We now provide residential care in 12 quality facilities across the state, as a well as home care services on the Yorke Peninsula.
We currently offer approximately 1,000 licensed aged care beds and more than 200 self-contained retirement units. We have a dedicated team of over 1,500 qualified staff and we’re blessed with the selfless assistance of over 300 passionate and energetic volunteers.
Eldercare has been providing care for senior South Australians for over 25 years and its predecessor organisations have been involved in aged care for several decades, commencing at Allambi in the late 1950s.
Eldercare is one of the largest aged care providers in South Australia and is a community service of the Uniting Church of Australia. Eldercare is governed by its own Board of Directors and is a stand-alone incorporated association.
