BREATHE THE FRESH AIR IN, ALL YEAR ROUND
A large suburb named after Buderim Mountain, a few kilometres from Mooloolaba and only 90km from Brisbane. They say that whoever visits Buderim, immediately falls in love with the welcoming community, the fresh mountain air and the stunning views.
Buderim retains a rural feel, but, at the same time, has the facilities you may need during your retirement years. Buderim Village, the heart of the CBD, is a lively tree-lined street, with restaurants and shops. It’s home to the famous Eat Street, full of cafes and restaurants with alfresco dining, which suits the mild Buderim weather perfectly. There are local buses and taxis to comfortably travel in and out of the CBD.
The over 50s can enjoy a pleasant lifestyle in Buderim. The town has a strong sense of community, with several associations run entirely by volunteers, like the Buderim War Memorial Community Association (BWMCA), the Buderim Lions Club, and many more.
You’ll also find good access to health services. Buderim Private Hospital is part of UnitingCare Health, same as The Wesley Hospital in Brisbane, and the large Nambour General Hospital is only a 15-minute drive away.
