Construction work is underway on a $160 million Gold Coast retirement community, which will include 200 apartments and be located on the grounds of a major licensed club home to the Titans rugby league team.
National retirement community operator Living Choice is celebrating the commencement of civil works at its luxury resort-style village, Living Choice Parkwood.
The project is located at The Club at Parkwood Village and will overlook a lake, championship 18-hole golf course and the Titans training field.
The project’s first stage, which is under construction, includes 69 apartments in the two apartment buildings, The Columbus and Lexington. An official ground-turning event is planned for 4 March.
Apartments at Living Choice Parkwood will range from one-bedroom to ultra-luxurious penthouses.
Prices start at $394,900 for a one-bedroom apartment measuring 87sq/m to $1,869,900 for an ultra-luxurious penthouse measuring 298sq/m. The two-bedroom Kestrel apartment design is a popular size (131sq/m) and is available from $694,900, depending on level chosen.
A full-size two-bedroom display apartment is located at the entrance to The Club at Parkwood Village and is open for viewing daily between 10am and 3pm.
The project’s facilities will include an indoor heated swimming pool, bowls green, tennis court, pickleball courts, auditorium with dance floor, cinema, gymnasium, art and craft studio, library, wellness rooms, outdoor BBQ area, workshop and boardwalk with extensive lawns.
