Leading in retirement living, Aveo won three awards at last week's prestigious Property Council of Australia’s National Retirement Living Awards at The Star, Gold Coast.
The awards celebrate the highest achievements across all areas of retirement living.
Aveo’s CEO Tony Randello congratulated Aveo’s individuals and teams recognised in the awards. “I pay tribute to all the winners and am proud of their contributions to Aveo,’’ Mr Randello said.
“Aveo is the leader in retirement living because of the high performing and caring people who make life better for our residents every day.’’
- Jo-Anne Quinn from Aveo’s The Manors of Mosman community in Sydney’s inner northeast was named Village Manager of the Year. “I am privileged to play a part in the lives of our wonderful residents who teach me something new every day,’’ Mrs Quinn said.
- The Take the First Step campaign targeted people considering moving to a retirement community. It provided information on what retirement living offered with experts’ advice on making the ‘first step’.
- Bella Vista Haven, Aveo’s master planned community in Greater Sydney’s Hills District, took home the Sustainability in Retirement Living Award. The premium master planned community opened in 2018, delivering a striking lakefront community with five-star facilities for residents and high-end apartments. Developed on a 10,260sqm site, the village’s residential tower and facilities were designed by Jackson Teece Architects and constructed by Strongbuild.
Aveo’s CEO Tony Randello said Bella Vista Haven had set a development benchmark in the retirement living industry. “It has delivered the highest level of social and environmental sustainability and amenity while becoming a wonderfully vibrant community that our residents proudly call home,’’ Mr Randello said.
