Stage 1 of Living Choice Flagstaff Hill, South Australia’s first fully integrated golf course retirement village, was launched at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club in late February and long-time Flagstaff Hill Golf Club member, Wendy Butler, made sure she was there early to secure her preferred home.
Wendy, a past ladies’ captain and club champion, has been a member at the club for 28 years and since the first Living Choice information session, she has had her eye on a 3-bedroom villa design called the St Andrews. She signed up just a few minutes after the Open Day started and was warmly congratulated by Living Choice director, Ian Tregoning and sales manager, Katherine Stacey.
“I’m looking forward to the lifestyle, being able to play more golf, using the new facilities planned for the clubhouse and getting involved in the social side of things,” she said.
There has been keen interest in Stage 1, comprising 42 villas, and of the initial 12 released for sale, 6 have been reserved, prompting the release of a further 7. Katherine said there had also been many enquiries for the apartments, however deposits for these could not be accepted until the Planning Application for Stage 2 had been approved.
The application for Stage 2, comprising both the apartments and a new clubhouse, has been submitted to the Onkaparinga Council.
Living Choice director, Graham Hobbs, said elevating Flagstaff Hill Golf Club to the finest Tier 2 club in South Australia was the vision of both Living Choice and the club.
