DISCOVER THE OUTBACK TOWNS THE REGIONAL CITIES OF NSW
North West NSW is a region formed by a number of regional cities and outback towns.
Dubbo is a large population centre in the area, where you can find plenty of restaurants, shops, bushwalks and heritage-listed sites. If you choose this city as the place to spend your retirement years, you can enjoy cruising the Macquarie River, playing golf and visiting weekend markets.
Broken Hill is another interesting location in NSW with plenty of advantages for senior residents and retirees. It’s a beautiful heritage-listed city, with a vibrant art scene. There are great galleries and museums, nice cafes and interesting landmarks.
Bourke, Cobar and Wentworth are some of the towns that can also be found in the region. Bourke is a historic outback town on the banks of the Darling River, rich in Indigenous culture and heritage landmarks. Wentworth is located where two beautiful rivers meet and Cobar, also known as ‘The Copper City’, is a small town with an interesting mining history.
